Price Protection Guarantee Program

Program Overview
This program is to safeguard earned credits and tenancy in an OptionPlus Homes rent-to-own home for an additional 1, 2 or 3 year period if the appraised value of the home is lower than the net purchase price within 90 days of the expiration of the option contract.

Program Rules and Restrictions
This is not a complete list of program rules and restrictions. You must review the Addendum prior to signing your contract for complete program rules and restrictions. This program only applies if the Addendum that provides this protection was signed on the property. Not all properties in our inventory offer this protection. Here is a partial list of the rules and restrictions:

• Appraisal may be required at time of extension request, at the Seller's option, paid for by the Tenant/Buyer.
• All option fees, assignment fees and rent credits earned through the original expiration date of the option contract will still apply to the full purchase price according to the guidelines set forth in the option to purchase contract until the price protection extension period expires
• During the extension period, Tenant/Buyer will earn smaller rent credits than they did during the original contract period
• Tenant/Buyer will not be eligible for this program if they have more than 2 rent payments made after the grace period defined in their lease agreement in the 12 months prior to the request to extend under the terms of the price protection program.
• If a specific property is advertised as offering price protection, this alone does not provide price protection. All parties must sign the Addendum that provides this protection for this program to apply.
